6:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday

What ages do you accept?

Children from 6 weeks through 12 years old.

do Public school buses pick up school-agers at your center?

Yes, the only public school that picks up from our center is York New Salem Elementary.

Are field trips offered to the children?

Yes, we do take field trips!  Most of our field trips are taken in the summer months.

Is playtime/outdoor time available?

Yes!  Our Center has 3 fenced in areas for outside play.  The children have scheduled time in the morning and afternoon, weather permitting, to explore their outside world.

​Are meals and snacks provided?

Yes, we served hot meals and nutritional snacks.  Our Center has a full service kitchen and staff is trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for children.  We serve breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snacks to all children who are here during those times.

Is Your staff trained?

Yes, St. Jacob's UCC Child Care Center faculty meets all state training regulations as well as Keystone Stars regulations, including First Aid/CPR, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness.  All of our faculty members are Mandated Child Abuse Reporters as well.  We also have several staff members received their Child Development Associate!
